I'm glad your diagnosis helped you get through tough times. The only reason why I assumed that children got more support is because every time I read anything about autism, it's about a child with it. I don't read too many articles about an adult that has it. It's as if people don't realize that adults can have it too or maybe readers aren't as interested with reading about an adult that has autism, not sure. And by the way, I didn't get support as a child either because I wasn't diagnosed until I was an adult, so I guess we are on the same boat, and I'm sorry you had to suffer like I did, I was hoping that people that got an early diagnosis were living better lives, but maybe not.
