So I'm exiled to be Couchbound due to my terrific snoring. I'm SO sore from it too. Does anyone know of a cure that works so I can sleep in a bed like a normal human being next to my spouse instead of the dog? It even bit my foot in the middle of the night - probably because of the snoring..... Please help. Thanks! :(

If you're snoring is as bad as you describe it, see a doctor if possible. You may have more problems than just being loud. The kind of problems you don't wake up from.

I snored. It was described to me as a piece of ham stuck in a garbage disposal that was being turned on in bursts. I ended up going to my doctor and was referred to a neurologist for a sleep study. Found out I was only getting 60% of the air I needed. I now use a cpap, and my sleep and energy have improved. I also don't snore while using the cpap. I also found out I have a smaller than average throat for my size, and my tongue sits higher and farther back than the average.

Go see your doctor if you can.

I agree that it could be sleep apnea. My doc thinks I have it & suggested I get a sleep study but I have a deviated septum(the inside of my nose is a little crooked) which could be causing or contributing to it. I'm getting surgery to correct it in alittle over a month. I'll probably see about a sleep study sometime after I recover sense my GP & ears-nose-&-throat doc think I should get one.

If you wear PJs then sew something about the size of a table tennis ball right where your shoulders are. That way, everytime you roll onto your back it will feel damn uncomfortable and you'll roll onto your side again.

Or, see a doctor.
