It's now past Easter with May fast approaching. So why does the Wrong Planet homepage still feature that Christmas article ('5 tools to get past the Christmas')?!? We wouldn't leave a Christmas tree up past Easter, so why is that article still here?

Just a friendly reminder: It's time for new front page news. Geez :bigsmurf:

Allowing certain members to write articles for the front page would help to reduce Alex's workload and keep things fresh.

You are presuming that Alex has a workload related to this site. I seriously doubt that Alex has spent even an hour over the past four months dealing with site related issues.

I made no such assumption and have often expressed frustration with the site's performance, so if you could not lie about me, I'd greatly appreciate it. I get the impression that he has a workload related to offsite work that diverts his attention from the site. I could be wrong, but there is sufficient evidence to suggest that this is so.

Regardless, I think that allowing members to submit articles would be a good idea.
