I'm not sure what musical genre best describes my personality. I'm aloof, quiet, but fiercely loyal and caring to people who mean something to me. I guess ambient house? LOL

The Kinks and the British Invasion would be my music personality. I like The Kinks more than The Beatles and that's why it's worded this way.

I think soft rock from the 70s and 80s describe my personality best: easygoing, down to earth, and sweet, even on my worst days.

We, the people on the Autistic Spectrum have a choice.
We can either try to "fit in" with the rest of society, or we can be so egocentric that we can't be bothered.
I choose the actor. I observe NT's. I listen to their socializing. I practice it, so in social situations I can just emulate/mimic what is expected.
It isn't natural for me, but it enables me to "fit in".
It is VERY tiring and draining, but at least we can appear like them even though it is an act. Like being on the stage.
They can't see it is emulation, and so we are accepted.

Basically I like to drift in my mind sometimes and think deeply about things that might seem strange to others, but I also have a very real world in the moment aspect of intensity to me. A fusion of Grunge and Prog.
