It's just, creepy, very creepy, the whole thing, the hackers, the people on Reddit and 4chan and elsewhere copying and saving the photos of all the people taken in them, and then there's the response of many saying it's photo-taker's faults for taking the photos. While one can question a lot of judgement of taking naked selfies, I don't know, the internet often makes me ashamed to be a member of the same species as the trolls and other parts of the abyss of the comment boards. That's all I can say.

And let the debate start ! !! !

Who is to be blamed ?? Celebs who are splashing around nude pics ??? Or hackers who spread those pics across the Inter-web??

I foresee a new luddite movement where people will start to shed themselves of their numerous personal surveillance devices, and refuse to interact with people who use or carry them. It's coming.

perhaps if it were your mother or sister who was figuratively stripped in public you might not find it so funny.

these are human beings, people. human beings with feelings, and rights to privacy.

try to have some human decency and empathise.

I'd still laugh (perhaps more).

I'd also laugh if it was me (and I was a super celebrity; you generally need that for it to be hilarious based on the responses).

It must be so tiring to have so much human decency and empathy.

I don't think you've fully grasped what it is you've decided to perpetuate.

only when i encounter people like you, as you types tend to create empathy vacuums wherever you go. you should try making use of the heart you were given, you may find it surprisingly rewarding.

If everything we do or say that is remotely titillating, embarrassing, or controversial to somebody, will be made public by those closest to us, then our relationships will always be superficial, and there will be strong social disincentives for any of us to say or do anything, even in private, that might potentially annoy anyone.

If you do not respect the privacy of your friends and family, then you are no different from a Stasi agent, and don't be surprised if they withdraw you from their confidences, and don't want to be around you.

Empathy = stupid NT stuff that does nothing but make people behave in the manner of an emotional slave

"Heart" = subjective emotionally pretentious stuff

See, I have empathy and a heart. It's just different to yours. You feel bad for them, I feel humor.

I think the latter is better, morally and objectively, as it'll allow it to blow over and people won't feel as bad in the end.
