I have heard that many aspies walk on their toes. I've never done this much, except while playing as a child. However, I have always curled my toes while I am walking, especially if I have shoes on. Almost like I am holding onto my shoes with my toes. I didn't know if this is a normal thing to do, or if it is peculiar? Do other aspies do this?

I used to do that, but not anymore.

I don't know if it's an aspie thing but I have always done that. I hate tying my shoes so sometimes I am holding my shoes on

Sometimes. I don't think I walk on my toes much anymore - but I sure dance on them!

I do this. For some reason, though, it is almost exclusively confined to my right foot.

When I walk up and down stairs I try to curl my toes around the edge of the stair, even when wearing shoes. Coming down stairs is okay but when going up it has a tendancy to make me slip on the edge.
Also, I don't like wearing anything on my feet if I can help it. I hate the feeling.

I've always done that and I curl my toes when I'm happy or excited.

I only walk on my toes if I'm going up the stairs. I'm actually pigeon-toed, so I always figured that was the reason why. Plus my feet aren't exactly big either. As for walking, I just slide them on the ground but pick them up just a bit. If I pick them up more than that, I start tripping over myself. Ironically, I'm actually a very fast walker. Same goes for running. Back in Freshman year, I beat all the other girls in my gym class with every single race all year long. And I was the smallest and thinnest in my grade! I was 5'0" and 84 pounds at the time, so yeah.

I curl my toes under if I am sitting down and don't have any shoes on.
I have only seen one other person do this.

I seem to do this a lot, oddly, but only when I am not in shoes.
