In Ireland we have a different amount each year. Homework is supposed to take me 2 hours, but it only really takes me about 45 mins-1 1/2 hours.

Last year in the 8th grade I got nailed with homework everyday, taking around an hour to do, they said they were preparing us for highschool. This year as a freshmen I can count on my fingers the number of times I've spent more than 5 minutes at home doing homework.

I don't count the time because I keep taking breaks in between so I don't know exactly how much the time taken was but sometimes I do take a long time
