Dance is to me a form of expressing myself. I dance when I am hyper sad angry everything. What do you do?

I dance when I play Dance Dance Revolution. It's real good for clearing your mind. I can do just about anything up to and including skill level 8's. Besides that I just mosh. Oh and I did rave once at an anime convention.

I just have alot of speed and drive in me. I think if you could prove that the rate at which you percive reality differs from person to person, I would see things alot slower than most people. I practice really trivail things like that alot though. I have more useless talents than anyone else. I lack any sort of skills that could get me a paying job.

My parents own a ballet school. They were both professional dancers. I took ballet for thirteen years, and danced for a regional ballet company when I was 13-16. I recently quit. I still adore ballet, but I just don't want to dance anymore. I'll occassionally take class.

I can't do DDR either. It doesn't seem to have much to do with beign a good/trained dancer. I know people who can't dance, but are amazing at DDR.

Fast reactions? Hmm. Ever considered fire service? They love people who can react fast and are smart (as you have AS, you should definatly come under that catagory)

Oh yah. And aslo, i have proof. its been proven by a team of psychologists in the US at 1 point that people all differ in the speed they react partly because they perceve the action differently. For example, on a reaction test machine, i can get it down to .08 of a second, while most NTs who try can only get it to .3 of a second. This does not include my mum, who gets it down to .21 of a second. Then again....

However, this is because i actually sence the light going on a couple of seconds before it does. Its an electrial field... i dont know how, but i can almost sense electricity sometimes. However, that may be related to the fact that the bulb starts to glow lightly just before it lights up properly, also.

Therefore, while NTs dont notice this light glow, those of use who have faster than normal reactions perceve time at a slow enough rate, and also sense the electricity ever so slightly, to see the faint glow just before, so we are already moving.

No I can still dance too. I have this weird style that is something like hippy, disco, and break danceing combined. I normally just end up raving, moshing, and/or circle pit though.

The only thing I can express through dancing is "I'm an uncoordinated, gangly jerk who's still in the process of saving up for my second left foot" I'm afraid.....

I can't dance very well. Then again, I don't think any guy in my school is good at dancing. The only kind of dancing done at school dances is basically sex with your clothes on. I don't see the point in that.

really? oh. just me, then... *cough*

i dance every day, if i can. i had ballet lessons for a bit when i was young, but i LOVE dance, and so have learned (sort of) indian dancing - all those beautiful hand and finger movements - rak shaki (i think that's how it's spelled ), which is sort of belly dancing, and contemporary dance. i dance in a mixture of all of the above, with some strange gyrations chucked in for good measure. it's all from the hips, with me. apparently, it's rather nice to watch (i don't mean "nice", but this isn't the mature forum...).

i find dancing very meditative, in the sense of moving into an altered state of consciousness. a few minutes of dancing (even less of drumming, but don't get me started on drumming...) and i'm away. makes for interesting interactions on the dance floor in clubs (when i used to go to clubs).
