http://mashable.com/2015/02/25/ducktale ... v-in-2017/ - That's right, the 1987 Disney animated series DuckTales is coming back in 2017, in time for the series' 30th anniversary. I remember watching it as a kid and renting tapes of it from my local library; I own all three DVD sets released of the series as well.

Now, I want to see a revival of the Nickelodeon game show Double Dare done next......

Awesome! I hope they don't mess it up by drawing the characters differently.

Another one they're bringing back? First there's Paddington and Postman Pat movies, and then there'll be reboots of Danger Mouse, the Powerpuff Girls, Superted, Rainbow Brite, the Clangers, the Wombles, Teletubbies, Thunderbirds, and now Ducktales? Wow. This decade is like, the age of children's telly reboot. :o

Seems pretty cool, though. I used to watch reruns of Ducktales when I was about six. I just hope they don't make a mess of it.

seems like all the 80s/90s shows are making a comeback. what does that tell you? they are finally recognizing the era of great shows! that's what it tells me!

When I was a teenager I watched Duck Tales along with many other of the junky cartoons ( :) ) that used to appear on weekday afternoons when I came home from school. But I never liked it all that much. I couldn't understand why they didn't have Donald himself as the main character. But I thought Launchpad McQuack was funny and I started calling one of my teachers Mr. Mc-D (his last name was MacDoogle)

Or maybe it means they are running out of creative ideas, just like with movies and TV shows.

I wish they would rerun the old series again instead of bringing it back because lots of the other cartoons that are brought back like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Scooby Doo make the charters seem very different & hip & annoying.

I definitely agree! I hope that they include Fenton/Gizmoduck in it. He was one of the best characters. Sailor Moon Crystal's just so awesome. Now they just need to do the reboot for Captain Planet, and I'd go back to watching TV all afternoon.
