What do you eat when you're hungry but don't want to cook? I need some fresh ideas for food choices that are quick and easy.

Here's one tasty treat I invented. I braek a pop-tart in half and put ice cream in the middle. And then I eat it like a sandwich! It's really tastey! I'd recommend it with strawberry ice cream. :P

I end up with more hunger than energy quite often. So I keep Ramenoodles, canned stuff, and frozen too. Most of it is not really good - but okay.

I also keep instant breakfast and V8.

I make ramon noodles. When the noodles are at the soft stage,I throw in a couple of eggs(not with the shells and let them poach.
If you are more ambitious, youcan throw in some broccolli steamed in the microwave.I also add lots af garlic powder, pepper and sometimes wershester(sp)<-----(I think you know how to spell this)

If I am even lazier....bagel with a slice of pepperjack cheese and tomato, tomato sandwhich with miricelwhip,(slaughtered that word),raisenbran or chocolate chip cookies from the local SA(SuperAmerica)Do you have them in Hawaii?I always keep a few cans of tomatoe, veggie soup and garlic triscuts around. In the summer,I like to have salad "fixens"....yum.

What's cooking? :P I never cook. Everything I eat goes in the microwave, but I do at least eat a lot of fruit and steamed veggies. I just haven't the patience to spend time in a kitchen waiting for things.

Some of my favorite quick dishes:

Take flour tortillas, your favorite sandwhich meat, some shedded cheese, and shredded lettuce, and mayonaise or favorite salad dressing.

Spread the mayo or dressing on the tortilla, sprinkle the cheese on top, add the meat flat, and add the lettuce. Then roll it up like a carpet. You can cut it into slices or eat it as is.

Dip pita chips in hummus, the comercial brands are all pretty good. You could also spread hummus on pitas or flour tortillas.

Get a can of diced tomatoes, add crumpled up ritz crackers and parmasean cheese, and heat in in the microwave. The eat it.

Corn tortillas wrapped around some cheese and microwaved. Blue cheese works well.

Make a big batch of chilli and freeze it in two serving microwavable containers.

Crock pot. Throw in a bunch of things before work. Have a nice meal when you get home.

I nuke hot dog like things. It's pretty much all I eat at home now. I think it's killing me. Just can't cook anymore.

What a great idea. I've been basically surviving off of ramen for almost 15 years, and I've never thought of that.

Lately I've been eating alot of tuna, though apparantly it's not good for you. Once I discovered how good it is when you mix it with ranch dressing I couldn't get enough.
