I have never gone overboard with jewelry but I have been tempted. The most daring thing I have done is wear an earring. But that was back in the early 1970's just as earring for guys were fashionable because I noticed few trend setters started wearing them. But when I got one I could not put up with all the extra teasing for it so I took it off and I have not worn one since. The same with neck chains and bracelets. I certainly would not be daring enough to have my nose pierced. If I ever considered wearing jewelry in the future for me it would be something understated like a small single earring, a fine neck chain or cuff links or something. In the mean time the nearest thing I have to jewelry is my watch.
Does anyone here wear jewelry
the only time i will wear jewelry is for a wedding or a funeral (maybe)
think some people are bad with obcessing about jewelry, my mom has or had a case of that obcession, and uggggghhh, i caught the recieving end of it, she for every , yes every birthday, and xmas, what did i get, thats right, jewelry, whenever id fix a door closer or sit with mine (the one in avator) or fix a car, what would happen?, id have a lesson in that particular subject, (stones, diamond grading, Kts) i havent seen her in about 6 years now (parents are divorced) so i dont get it anymore but i still love her for who she is but the jewelry thing, just got bad to point were the jewelry store got more important then a ride to school if i missed the bus to school.
with tv veiwing, that was restricted to one channel, msnbc(shopping) HSN (home shopping network) QVC and some diamond auction show (shows really close up of jewelry) i once told her, you know i love door closers and if there was a show on all day of really close closeups of them like this show, id watch it sometimes but not obcessively, just because im female dont mean i have to love jewelry or be femenine(spelling?)
