Hey everybody,
I'm a 24 year old aspie man and I've never had much luck with women. Sure I've been on a few dates (I can count them all on one hand),kissed a few girls, "talked' to my fair share of women but it never seems to lead anywhere. I'm 24 and I still havent had sex or been in a relationship. And this is starting to really affect my self esteem. The thing is I really want a stable longterm relationship but they always seem to elude me and stay just outside of my grasp. I'm almost on the verge of completely giving up and accepting that I will always be alone and never have sex and a relationship. Why am I at this point? You see I've gotten stuck in a pattern that is as predictable as the passage of time. What happens is I will put the thought of dating on the back burner and will be doing my own thing for awhile and meet a cute girl that I like that seems interested in me as well! We'll correspond via email, phone, text etc. for awhile and things will seem to be going great and then they will just kind of disappear and stop responding to me without giving me a reason. Sometimes this happens fairly quickly or sometimes the women will talk to me for weeks before blowing me off but it always happens! Always! I have never liked and pursued a girl that didn't blow me off. It always happens! Always! And I'm sick of it! My fragile self esteem can't take it anymore! Every time it happens it makes me feel like a failure and makes me wonder what I did wrong, if anything. I will think about it for weeks or even months. The bad thing is I never get any closure or feedback. And there have been times I have written these women heartfelt texts or e-mails asking if I did anything wrong and they have all went unanswered. It's always the same..... I lose a girl I was beginning to like/liked. They go off to date other guys and forget about me and I'm left alone wondering what the hell is wrong with me to make me so easy to leave and forget. I have dealt with this tons of times but it never gets any easier.... Every time it happens the pain and confusion is just as intense as it was the first time I got blown off. Can anyone relate?

I've felt the same way as you.

My proposed solution: Don't take heed to what people think about you. Know you are worth something.

Even the best-looking and most accomplished people get rejected. It's true.

Just keep on plugging away. If you don't try, nothing will happen. If you do try, even if nothing happens, you're continuing to learn.
