Anyone else experience this? I have a number of intellectual interests, but things have steadily gone in decline for me the last few years. That is to say, I have no capacity to do the things that matter to me, and this is after I've come out of a major depression. Are there any spergs out there that has regained their ability to work/concentrate, after having lost this ability in the first place?

In some ways I am better than ever...
More focused and organised...
More realistic with my expectations...
Less prone to procrastinating...
Greater understanding of "life, the universe and everything"...

Weird, but I just put on some sun glasses and immediately felt relief. Could it be that I have had light sensitivity for all these years, without even knowing it? Last year I had a Lasek-operation, so now I have near perfect vision, and everything also seems brighter ... Would be insane if this was one of the causes of my exhaustion.

Bumping this thread. Has anyone had autistic burnout in their midlife, and recovered from it?
