With so many blessed souls in here, I already feel intimidated. To be honest, the concept of trying to introduce myself to people who are like me in the perfect way has left me speechless. I've always dreamed of meeting people like myself, but looking at this board is like looking at 10,000 copies of myself, and it's quite a bit scary.

It's easy - just go to the thread "Questions about you" that's stickied in this forum, and answer the questions!

Welcome LeviathanMist,

There are only about a hundred here, and lots of boards to view. It is not hard to sort yourself out, where you best fit in.

We are something like you, we all speak on the same wavelength, but after that we are a mixed lot, there seems to be no classic aspie, and out of the lot I have never matched a pair.

Yet we have no problem speaking across age, gender, and personal interests.

Some group by age, some around music, science, math, art, writting, it is a lot of small clubs but just belonging to one interest group does not mean they will share your other interests, The place is large enough to cover your personallity, bit at a time.

Wander and enjoy, find bits of yourself in many others.

There are quite a few here from Oregon - you may actually run into a 'real live Aspie' where you live! :) Welcome! Don't feel intimidated, we (mostly) don't bite. (mostly).

Actually, I already know one, have known one since I was 10 :P he's one of the few friends I've kept over the years, we tend to have the same interests and get along very well.
