Does nickname changing even work?

I think that feature is nonfunctional at the moment. It doesn't change your displayed username and, for that matter, it doesn't really do anything.

And here I was arguing against the totalitarian aspects of the software when not only does it also not do a lot of things, but actually still has them in preferences for the heck of it...
