Although I keep the "Notify me when a reply is posted" marked, notifications stoped arriving at my mail, do you know why?

That never happens to me, but I think it's because your e-mail provider is slow to send you messages sometimes.

On some boards, after you get one notification of a topic you don't get any more until you have signed in there and visited the thread. Maybe that is the case here too.

Yes, that is the case here.

Also, be sure to check that your spam filter isn't filtering out WP notifications. They come from alex@wrongplanet.net - put this address on your "safe" list.
