Not all that strange. They are driven by motivations, needs, that kind of thing, just like anyone else. Theirs are just different, at least in terms of websites.

It could be attention, revenge, anger, something along those lines. My guess is attention. I don't find it as much strange, as I do slightly funny and relatively sad.
