I think that it's better for a person to be big and jolly. Maybe it's because I'm big and jolly, myself. It's the oversized people who seem to have the cheeky sense of humour, and they usually seem to be happy and positive. :)

Maybe this thread wasn't such a bright idea.

I'm slender and miserable.
But I like my misery.

But you're also brainy, because you do a lot of thinking. Thinkers have this gift of moodiness. :)

i think being jolly is just a persons personality, it really dont depend on weight, when i was 136 i was happy and humorus, and so am i at 97, people will love you no matter how your weight is cockney, its that you will be feeling physically better about yourself and self asteem will be raised with less weight. also self asteem can be set by how people treat you, and what you eat, like if you eat healthy food and feel good about yourself and have energy, the self asteem is high, and cheery, if it was low, from eating bad food and always sleepy you wont really be feeling that well.

i think by how you have changed and we have talked i think you feel really happy about yourself for finding me here on wp, im soo glad i found you as well.

pleaes be happy cockney,

I'm glad to have found you, as well. I don't know why I've started this thread. It was late last night and I was wired on coffee. A friend took me out to the IGA for a hot drink and the only thing that was accesable was coffee. I make silly threads when I can't sleep. I'm happy about the changes that I've been making. Maybe this thread should be locked by a moderator the other members start flaming each other. What was I thinking when I've made this thread?

I'm that sort of 'in the middle' size, neither fat nor thin. And I'm happy, and reasonably intelligent. However, my life is kinda boring.

I've thought about how much I've changed and for the better, too. I also feel healthier and more energetic. It's tough being a Santa in a culture that worships Barbies. I used to let it get to me, like for example a month ago with the cookies and the weight comments made by my own mother. I'm going to keep following the plan you've mentioned, but at the same time, accepting my body, every step of the way. It was almost a month ago that I was going to starve myself to death, wondering if my mum would feel guilty when I was gone. This website is my personal diary. I can discuss things here, that I can't discuss with the NTAs in my life. I can also let the world know that I'm eating healthy and losing weight, but at the same time, I can accept my current weight, here, which I don't feel that I can around my mum who weighed 90 lbs at my age, hence my avatar. One day, I might be the sexy babe on the right. :)

Looking after yourself is your most important thing. I've been feeling down recently. But I realise that I have to like myself - if I don't, who else is? So go and have a bath, do your hair up nice, go out and have a nice walk out. Have some good provvin (and not too much) and relax. Or something. :)

I'll get right to it. I'll wash up after breakfast and go for that much needed walk. I'll relax for a while, after and than I'll go to the Plant Sale. :)

I've cleaned up and walked down to the duck pond. I've enjoyed the walk very much, and I don't know why I haven't started that, earlier this year. Now that I know that it's closer than I thought, I'll be walking there, every day in the morning, before I call my mum. :)
