Wrong date on topic

I was browsing a topic and found an odd bug. It says that this topic was posted by "Guest" in 1969, which obviously isn't correct.

Yeah, and if you go to the members list you see that the first member is said to have joined December 31, 1969. I googled it and found out that that date is the "epoch date" for Unix--the day that the Unix calendar started counting. I'm still not sure why it says that, though.
