Please for the love of this forum, don't encourage these people by posting threads mentioning them in the title. Like don't use the terms: magic specialist, voodoo specialist or any kind of strange indian advertisement from india in the name of a forum topic or wherever else. Just seems to draw them here even if your intent is to complain about them...they see mention of 'voodo specialist here wether it's complaining or agreeing with them, they're sure to post tons and tons and tons more advertisements. They probably have a bot that takes key words so whenever anyone here posts 'can these indian scam artists be stopped' including terms they use in the title of topics it takes it as approval and signals to said advertisers they should post more here. So really point is just ignore them, report it to the mods...perhaps someday this site will find a way to block this spam. but whatever you do don't respond to them or repeat terms the use in post titles.

Also encourage any company you get service from to hire people that maybe can understand and speak some english(if you're in an english speaking country or if not english speaking country advertise in their language not some other one? IDK). Why companies think it is a good idea to transport customer service to countries where citizens have no idea how to understand the language most customers speak, let alone speak it themselves making for endless customer service over the phone frustration i don't understand.

I don't think they even pay attention to other posts on the forum.

Yes but they probably have some kind of bot that takes responses to those threads as well as thread topics specifically mentioning their ads to increase the amount they spam here. Could be wrong but seemed feasible last night cause someone posted complaining about them....and sure enough tons more ads appeared a while later.

I don't know. I think it's just a coincidence.

I've added some additional protections against spammers signing up. Hopefully that will be enough and we won't see them anymore.

Too late. I had already made a topic about the spam. I really doubt that talking about them encourages more spam. They likely don't even read most or any of the discussions that go on here.

it's automated. Obviously the bots aren't reading threads on the forum.

well I figured there might be bots that will look for key words tied to whats being advertised, and bot post more advertisements, I just can't imagine an actual person sits there and posts all those so still convinced it's a bot/automated. But maybe posts about that spam don't actually increase the amount...admittedly that part made more sense last night after I had, had a few beers but not so much now.

I think it's a bot, but it is possible for one guy to have all of this typed up already and just copy and paste it into the forums. Luckily, I haven't seen this spam in the past few days.
