Can thread titles not contravene any guidelines?

Right now there is a thread in PPR blatantly associating the KKK with Clinton (at the expense of stutterers, nonetheless), while the content of the OP has nothing to do with the organization (nor is there likely a connection, as snopes points out).

i can't wait for these elections to be over. i don't even care anymore if trump gets elected and decides to build a wall in the middle of the atlantic and bomb every country on the other side of it, as long as this demopublican war is over and the internet can be back to just good old porn and cat pictures

Thread titles must obey the rules. Additionally, in PPR groupthink is now (hopefully) to be contained to the designated threads. As this issue has been dealt with, I am locking this thread.

While you're right about thread titles, people are free to create topics on anything they'd like within rules (obviously duplicate threads shouldn't be created). But we can't contain discussion to the two threads you created. The idea that a "scandal" is too minor to be discussed on a separate thread seems pretty odd to me considering this election determines the next president of the US.

@ Mootoo: The rules for PPR are different----they say that "pretty much anything goes", "It is more or less freedom of speech.", "...public figures themselves – by the very nature of their roles they are personally open to criticism.", and "Provided people don't get too out of hand this forum is given a wide scope for debate; which frankly is what the members themselves want here, not moderators stepping in all the time censoring their opinions." There is nothing in either the "main" rules or PPR that says "KKK" can't be used.

No matter, the title has been changed, and the thread has been locked (wrongfully, on both counts, IMO).
