We've reached a point where presidential candidates can say whatever, whenever, however... and despite the controversy originating from themselves somehow it's not considered fine to simply repeat it here? How does that work? Besides elections, though, IF there are policies clearly delineated AND you expect everyone to follow them... EVERYONE should follow them, obviously. If 'baiting' (a completely subjective judgement, The_Walrus) isn't somehow found anywhere at all within them then no, random people can't simply decide on-the-fly that it breaks some morality. Besides, as mentioned, the originator is stupid presidential candidates... if you want to silence anyone how about beginning where the source is. Twitter doesn't, of course... and sexual perversions are really the milder statements, as it happens... theoretically he'd be banned if he said "Mexicans are rapists" here, but would he, or only those who repeat it? (And I mean repeat as in refer, to counteract, not encourage, although cheerleaders seem to have picnics around these parts...)

Calling Donald Trump a necrophile is not repeating something he's said.

If you'd like me to highlight the exact portions of WrongPlanet rules that you broke:

Conduct
-----------
The following activities are unacceptable on WrongPlanet:

1. Posting offensive language, comments, video, or images.
Unacceptable content includes swearing; racist, sexist, homophobic language; behavior intended to provoke or belittle other members; violent or sexually demeaning content; sexual fetish; and discussion of excretory function. Posting graphic images or videos of people or animals being harmed is prohibited.

3. Other inappropriate content and behavior prohibited on Wrong Planet:
This includes copyrighted material, serial codes, and posts made to promote a website, group or product, particularly if made repeatedly and without other participation in the WP community (spamming). This also includes discussion of locked topics, discussion of banned members and why they were banned and anything else that purposely causes conflict with other members.

Spamming
--------------------
* Do not create multiple topics in a short amount of time.
* Do not create multiple similarly themed topics; please combine them into one topic.

* Cross posting is prohibited
* Please do not create pointless threads. These will be locked or deleted.
* Do not post just to post. Your post count can be reset if administrators feel you're doing this.
* Your posts may be deleted if they break any of the above rules about spamming.

Terms of Service
--------------------
* Members must read the terms of service. Members who violate the terms of service may be banned or warned depending upon the severity of the violation. By using the forums, you are agreeing to the terms of service.

The specific section of the TOS you broke:

Quote:
Responsibilities
———————-
As a registered member, you are held solely and personally responsible for any libelous, defamatory, or slanderous remarks about a person or company made in your posts.

Calling someone a necrophiliac without any evidence to support it is defamatory.

Add in the obvious trolling and attempts to provoke and it's an absolute open-and-shut case.

Furthermore, this thread breaks the rule about discussing locked threads. Therefore, I will follow policy and lock it.
