I hate my job
It's incredibly stressful and a lot rides on me and my work.
I was hired on as a cake decorator in late July at a grocery store along with another girl, and the two cake decorators who were there were both gone within two weeks. Neither of us received proper training, but she got more than me.
Mid September she left for college. A new girl came in and she left immediately. I've been essentially running the cake decorating part of the bakery with only help from the bakery floater, who used to be a cake decorator. There's a ton of stuff I have to do, I'm not properly trained, and I've been informed my area of the bakery makes the bakery the most money so no pressure lmao.
I desperately want to quit but I can't even leave until at least late October if I want to put this on my resume and I should probably stay at least 6 months instead, so late January. In fact, since they just barely hired a new one, who will trained elsewhere, it could be upwards of a month before she shows up at our store, which means I'd be f*****g everyone else at our bakery over if I quit.
Also, I hate my boss. She's horrible to everyone and doesn't understand that none of us are properly trained. She also constantly changes our schedule with less than a weeks notice.
Idk how to handle this. Any advice?

I can relate to your situation somewhat, my first few months at the place I work at were really rough too. All you can do is try your best, if your best isn't good enough for them they should just fire you. It's their fault for not training you properly. Things might go wrong at times, try to analyze your mistakes and learn from them. You might get scolded at and it's a sh***y feeling, I know. But it will get easier eventually... Took me about 5 months before I started getting better results. I was always thinking about quitting and was pretty much a mental wreck before that and never thought they'd extend my 6 month trial contract. Now I've been working there for a year, still hate it but being better at your tasks really helps with all the stress factors. I'd try it out till January, your situation with your boss might get better once you get better at your job. If it's still as bad as it is now by then, quitting is probably a good option.
