Why should discussions be conducted with SHOUTING titles?

I'm just fed up... does no one see how awful titles capitalized look? I'm seeing it regularly on PPR at least, first by nurseangela and now jacoby... and usually go on to spread misinformation and propaganda, which is another problem. But if some threads can be capitalized then why aren't all threads capitalized? Are we going to conduct all conversations as such? How ludicrous would that be?

Surely the least the mods, some who seemingly love editing just about anything they come across, can do, is uncapitalize titles... or is that not interesting enough for the more devious?

Anyway, if it's not done then I'll simply protest (by, of course, doing the same exact thing but inevitably worse than a single capped word)... not that doing exactly what I hate is what I like, but sometimes the only time a point can be made is if it's done repeatedly and for no good reason (not like summoning 'the truth' (of a stuck caps key) or calling anyone a liar is any good reason... but beyond the content, it's just not easy to read (and sure, even bold is easier, but I assume the attention seekers found out it can't be used in titles).

If it wasn't allowed it would be blocked. You have opted to go out of your way to find a problem with people who don't share your point of view and discretely censor them by suggesting their threads be removed. At least that's how it looks to me.

This board is more to discuss the nature and features of WrongPlanet. If you think what they are doing is a problem tell the mods or put it in the moderator thread. But you know as well as I do there isn't a problem.

Although this doesn't seem to be a widespread problem, it shouldn't be allowed to get out of hand. I have decapitalised the title of the only active thread in PPR I could find with extensive capitalisation in the title.

They are capitalized because the posters want them to be. People have a rite to use all caps just as they have a rite not to capitalize a single letter in the tittle or when starting a sentence. I wish grammar nazis would find better things to do. We should all have the rite to post how we want as long as we're not flaming or trolling.

Ah well. Time to let this thread sink, I guess.
