im getting laughing gas liquid pre meds and the papoose wrap with the head strap im scared can you explain what will happen its for dentist work

sorry but I've never had a papoose board before, but I can tell you that with nitrous oxide [aka "laughing gas"] you will still feel what they are doing [feelings of movement and pressure that Novocain does not filter out], but largely will not care. they don't call it "laughing gas" for nothing.
for me, they had me lie back in the chair, had me whiff a sniff of laughing gas for a few minutes, then they applied topical numbing gel and pressure to the points where they had to insert a hypo loaded with Novocain. you will feel the pressure of the needle in a small localized point, you will feel some mild burning as the Novocain disseminates within the gums and reaches the nerves, but the nitrous will make you not really care about it, IOW you WON'T be going "OW OW OW!" or anything. likely they may give your choice of music to listen to while it is all happening, you might just be bopping along to the music for the whole short time you are there in the chair.
