Hi everybody,
I posted a thread ("Am I misdiagnosed with OCPD?") on January, I was diagnosed with OCPD, I was so hurt, broken, depressed and disappointed. It felt so wrong and unfair. I didn't give up, I kept seeking more and more information. I had a feeling that I was misdiagnosed.

After more than 1 year of consulting many "specialists" and getting diagnosis of Narcissistic PD, Histrionic PD, Schizophrenia and OCPD I finally met a clinical psychologist with 10 year's experience of diagnosing ASD. I got my diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome and felt huge relief. I finally after so many years felt so relieved, understood and accepted.

I want to thank all of you, this website and especially one friend.

She is an aspie and she lives also in Czech republic.

She replied to my post back in the days when I was seeking help. We started chatting and became a really good friends. From the moment I messaged her we chat everyday and we also meet regularly.

I am so happy. This post does not have any special value or specific info so it makes me and maybe some of you a bit confused, because I am not sure what I want to say. But I think that I just wanted to say thank you.

I am so grateful. This website gave me strength, confidence not to give up and my friend who helped me a lot on my journey.

THANK YOU

I'm glad you finally have the right answers , are you sure your friend wants her name revealed here - just asking as some posters are very private.
