I just read somewhere else where someone said they got a "zeus/scam virus" when they clicked on a WP thread yesterday.

I am getting a different problem from time to time that is probably an internal problem. In threads, previous replies come up in a "large quote box which is rectangular" which obscures some content of subsequent posts.

If there is a way I can fix this that anyone knows, could you share it?

Rebooting my computer didn't help. It is happening today, and has happened before in recent weeks, sporadically.

People visit this place, get something like that, and don't come back. The word goes out, "full of malware", people don't even try visiting.

I've had that issue the whole time. It turned me away the first couple of times.
On one computer, malwarebytes blocked the site. Whenever I log in, I'm warned that the site isn't secure. Just now, I tried going to the site's main page and was redirected to a blue screen with a popup demanding a login and password that I didn't have and which wouldn't go away. So I ctrl-alt-delete closed the window.
