Anybody else have this problem? I am a night owl I stay up til 4 am and I always have to take Advil PM to help me sleep and sometimes I wake up around 12-3 pm and then I have to take my nap or I might get very moody and I’m not very energetic like I sit around the house hardly doing anything but I can still wake up around 12-2 pm even if I went to bed early my body does not do mornings! Like early mornings! I get sick at my stomach feeling when I have to wake up real early! I’m wondering if this could be a sign of narcolepsy or something? :

That sounds a lot like my natural pattern, and it certainly is frustrating. I've also though it may be something like narcolepsy, or perhaps somewhere on a narcolepsy spectrum. One thing you can also check is your cortisol levels, since they can cause irregular sleep patterns.

Here’s one thing I don’t fall over sleeping at random times like narcoleptics usually do :?

Perhaps you have sleep apnea. I don't know a lot about it thou. It'll be good to talk to a doc & maybe have a sleep study.

It could be a mix of both! You don’t exactly have to fall over go boom sleeping at random places for it to be narcolepsy does it? It also takes a while for my Advil PM to kick in

I was falling asleep at work,
and was sleeping up to
12 hours/day
at home.

Turned out
my B12 was very low.
OTC supplements
(1000 mcg/day)
for 6 weeks
and I'm back.

Found that out
during my
HFA diagnosis process.
