Did anyone else have a Gay voice growing up? Could this be a symptom of Autism?

I had a gay voice until I was about 13/14.

I think a "gay voice" is an old-fashioned stereotype for people who were gay long before homosexuality was acceptable.

Guessing you mean a high pitched voice that sounds "Girly" (It sounds more fakey to me, not feminine honestly) on a guy, I have the other side of the coin.

Especially as a young girl (Like five) I sounded like a grown man. I've learned to make it sound higher as I've gotten older, because people wouldn't hear me or thought I was mumbling.

There is a stereotypical "gay voice."

It is higher-pitched than most men's voices. There's often a slight lisp present. They tend to exaggerate "feminine" intonations and vocal mannerisms. Like another poster said, they might sound "fake feminine."

Yeah. I always thought that Sheldon sounded gay (he even reminded me of guy I worked with who was gay),and I thought that about the character even before I learned that the actor who plays him is gay.

I think that actor plays it up for BBT, because he didn't sound like that in Hidden Figures.

"Sing-song" voices are often seen with kids and people on the autism spectrum, if that is sort of like what you experienced. I know someone who is not professionally diagnosed but likely has the disorder, and when he was younger he had this "sing-song" sort of voice which would go up and down in intonation whenever he spoke.

If this isn't what you mean at all, but you had some form of odd tone to your voice, then any abnormal intonation, pitch, or prosody to the voice could be a sign of autism, but it isn't definitive.

No it wasn't like that it wasn't a gay lisp either just a noticeably gay voice.
