The Predator Autism Character

I saw the predator last night. The reboot for whatever reason decided it would be a good idea to have a military sniper as the protagonist and then have him distanced from a mother and child with autism. Of course in the first few minutes it shows the kid having a sensory breakdown and getting bullied. Not that I should spoil the movie, and i still enjoyed it, but that was a bad autism potrayal among other mental health potrayals in the movie.
