Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody has come across this idea? or does anybody know of anything of the like?

I'm considering the idea but just looking for some feedback really. Essentially it would be a space/area/hall/big room that parents could go to for a chat, brew or food. My idea would be to have resources, publications and such available for parents to explore if they choose, with the addition that the 2 people running it are professional and parent. But possibly also relaxation type equipment.

If this were a thing what might people like to see there?

Best wishes everybody.

Our city has an indoor play space and cafe for young families. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be busy enough to be sustainable and profitable. Love the idea, but how do you make it work in dollars and cents?

My area has this place: Imagine Play Space

It's two floors filled with toys and play spaces for kids of every age, along with three dining rooms you can bring some food and coffee for adults to kick back while the kids knock themselves out. There's never music or electronic sounds, so even when it is packed with kids my son still loves it, as do most ASD kids who come there. (THere's also a separate room with some toys that is darker and quieter. It's good for sensory breaks and meant for it, but I mostly see it used for baby nursing)

That said, the place is not proofed against wanderers.
