I don't know what you're going through, but I'm sorry. I'm going through some s**t too - it's probably different from yours, I might or might not understand what it is even if I knew, but right now I think I can at least understand the mental/emotional place you're in.

It probably doesn't help, but in whatever personal hell you are right now, you're not entirely alone.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I am so stressed out with my job at the moment. If I stick it out for a couple of years I'll gain more experience, but right now it's tough.

I'm in a bad social situation now as well. My best buddy has moved to the other side of the world :(

I'm feeling really bad about myself in general. I feel like the boring old weirdo no one likes.

Stick around - if you can. I decide to leave the forum about once a month and I'm not even really active here

But this actually is a... haven for us, a last resort. We often won't get any real "solutions" here and it's easy to get frustrated but, still, even I come back for those few ones who will just... understand.

I'm sorry about your friend - a few years ago my best friend (for decades) killed herself and I still haven't fully recovered. But I have a few friendships that survived a move across the ocean, it can be done.

Nobody here thinks you're boring or weird - people here care about and like you - it's not much, but it's something and we probably get to see more of your "real" self than others.

I find that when bad things happen, it's not just one thing but a whole bunch of bad things that all suddenly happen at the same time.

Is this similar to how you feel?

This might be random, but I'm a big fan of both the SCP wiki and of Lovecraft.
