Happy Pride Month! Does anyone have any plans? I know it may be a little different this year with COVID-19. I am just posting some pride stuff on social media.

I don't currently have any plans, but I'm really interested to see what people are going to do for this given the current pandemic situation. Do you know of any online events being held?

This would be my first year wanting to take part, having come to term with things, and I don't really know what I am supposed to do. I thought that I at least should do the Australian thing, so I Googled to find out if it is also this month in Australia that parades would normally be done, but the answers I get back are that it is all the way in October which includes Coming out Day, but that same answer says that USA is also October. So I am a little confused.

I would maybe like to look into little signifiers I could get, such as little badges I could wear with the non-binary colours, but in general I don't know what the best options would be for the part of the world I am in. I also don't want to make it look like I am trying too hard for something like attention. I guess that my plan for the year would be to have gone to a pride event, testing my anxiety, get an idea in person what pride is like and have something I could wear afterwards.

I am still too scared to do something like change my gender on Facebook, since all my family would see it and a lot of my old high school classmates, and I don't know what would happen after that.
