Welcome to Wrong Planet.

What skills do you have? Have you ever worked for an employer? Why do you think that you cannot earn money?

What makes a person a winner or a loser is completely perceptional.

People with money may think that having money makes them a winner.
Whether that is true, i can't say.

Personally I would say it depends on what values you hold and how you perceive the world, as to whether making money makes you a winner / not making money makes you a loser.

For example, I value personal creative and intellectual achievement over money.
I also do not believe in competing with others. Create to stimulate yourself intellectually and creatively (enjoy the experience, find happiness) ideally regardless as to whether other people like or dislike what you do.

Buddhist monks are among some of the happiest people in the world.
Buddhist monks are penniless. Part of their path, they have to give away all their belongings.
This is necessary to reduce attachment to material objects.

They then are light, and less involved in the world. so they can then spend their time working on their mind,
to help themselves give away their attachments to the world, and their own emotions.

So as to learn to be content without being upset by emotions.

Welcome to the club. We meet Monday through Fridays on WP.
Dues are whatever you can afford; so far we've collected $0 because we're all broke. :(

Where do you live?
Can you build some skills?
What are your interests?

Try to think of a job field that is related to something that you enjoy. That way you can make it a goal and you will be more willing to apply for the jobs that come up. I've learnt that. I was unemployed for 5 years, and I didn't really know what I wanted to do, so I just stuck to searching for retail, which wasn't really what I wanted to do but usually people go for those types of jobs when they don't know what else to do. So ironically it was actually harder to get those sorts of jobs because so many people were going for them.

So I decided to go for something that relates to what I like. I like writing and crafting, but I found that getting into that type of field was difficult, so I thought of something else I like that isn't too ambitious but is enough to get me into my type of work and earning money. I like buses, so I thought I'll try and apply for a position at a bus depot, not as a bus-driver but as a cleaner. I got the job and I am very happy and I'm still working there now - because I like buses. And in time, I have opportunities to move higher up and fuel the buses then perhaps even drive them.

That is how career life works. It starts with the small steps; the very first being deciding what it is you want to do or what it is that you like. For example if you are interested in antiques then try going for antique stores, then you could work your way up the ladder in the future and you could end up being a bidding person and make lots of money. Also if you are naturally interested in a job the employer often picks up on that and will more likely to hire you.

That's all the advice I've got, sorry if it might sound a bit clichéd.

If you haven't done so already, friends and family might be able to start poking and prodding their social circle to see if anyone has a job going or knows of someone who does. The less formal nature of doing it that way allows then to explain your predicament and possibly sway some hearts.

You say you have "no skills". There are also a lot of jobs that don't require specific skills.
"Skills" all employers look for are reliability (be at work when you're supposed to be). Ethics (work hard and do the job to the best of your ability). Manners - speak with you boss, colleagues and clients in a professional polite manner at all times (even when you don't want to!).

I put myself through high school and then uni doing menial jobs, nothing was too simple, every job was a bit of cash and also experience. I had no special skills or qualifications to bring to the table but I was able to demonstrate that I was sensible and reliable.

If you are in the US, have you considered getting help through Vocational Rehab Services?

Winners and losers are declared at the end

Some applicants have barriers to employment:

Disability

Racism sexism homophobic fat phobia classism

No matter how many job skills I get, someone with a better personality will always get the job (limiting reagent)

Long term unemployed

Military veteran

Convicted felon

Some social service agencies claim to assist disadvantaged minorities with. Getting a job

Not everyone has the same vocational potential

Telecommute

It is popular belief that we all have a life path doing what we love.
Sadly, many people don't know what that is as they never developed their innate talents which we all have, so they lie dormant.
I didn't know until my 30s I was good at art, I liked it as a child but was not taught how to draw properly and was ashamed as it wasn't "cool" enough.
There is a book called "Do what you love and the money will come" look it out and have a read and best of luck.
Also research finding out your passion and what you enjoy, even if you have to go back to childhood, that will point you towards the right path.
