The last year I have been busy with a new course Executive Secretary. A very interesing course consisting of Office Management, Project Management, Business Correspondence, Management and Organisation and Final Assessment. I had to pass 4 exams and have a sufficient score for the Assessment, to get a diploma.
Management and Organisation is the toughest part of the course, Business Correspondence the easiest part (written communication and perfect knowledge of the Dutch language).
I finally did it! Now I try tor find a job as an Executive Secretary, although I am a man and 99 % of those Secretaries are women (1 % are men). I loved that course and for me it's a milestone, although I am on the spectrum.
Part of the course is in a physical classroom with other students and a teacher (and I think working together with other students and listening to a teacher worked the best for me) and part is purely online (with e-learning). The Final Assessment I had to do at home.
Now I try to find a job, but I want to talk about this with HRM. The diploma is a proof that I am skilled besides only being autistic. I know, I am very intelligent, so there must be possibilities and new areas to discover.
