Just accepted a job offer!

Been keeping this to myself, but last Tuesday a company that I interviewed with but didn't get a job with initially reached out to me about another position that opened up at their company. They're a global engineering/environmental remediation firm with a local office in my area. They indicated they wanted to make me an offer and that no additional interviewing would be necessary. I got in touch with the talent acquisition person later that week and he confirmed an offer would be forthcoming. We talked again today about a few hours ago and he made the offer verbally. It was a very generous offer with benefits and I told him so! :D After the call, I officially accepted the offer through the companies website. Its official! I'll be starting in early April.

If you don't mind me asking, how long were you between jobs? Why did you leave your last job? (assuming you had a previous job)

I was recently informed that I was a good fit in general, but not for that job specifically. It would be great if they called back, but it's ok if they don't.
