Not surprising. Plant medicines have been used for at Least thousands of years. It’s likely only more in modern times of prohibition by governments that fewer people use hallucinogenics/psychedelics - BUT -
thankfully that tide is shifting & more and more people are having a more complete human experience via consuming various plant medicines again. 8)

This has been known for some time. The early indo-Europeans consumed a suspected mushroom concoction called soma which contained psylocibin which has similar hallucinogenic properties to LSD.

As I recall the royal/priestly classes also partook in and venerated incestuous relationships. Sometimes even parent-child. Dare I ask, are you enjoying a more complete human experience in that sense, goldfish? Ancient humans did it therefore we should be allowed to as well, right?

It’s not a total failure depending on your perspective..

Drugs won. 8)

If you’re asking if I’ve ever been called “Daddy,” the answer is Yes.

Oh okay.I just meant the efforts of the government to stop drug use through law enforcement and drug laws have failed to make people stop taking drugs.I just think the Drug War made crime worse. They should have learned their lesson after Prohibition failed to stop people from drinking.

You may have misread it.

It's ancient Europeans. Not ancient Egyptians.

And it was the Pharoahs who married their siblings, and theyld did it to keep the political power in the family. Not for religious reasons.

Dont know what drugs have to do with it.

That's kinda like comparing apples to incest.

I did indeed. The point still stands though. "Our ancestors did something" is not a good argument for us to do it too.
