In life do you only get so many chances to find the right person to marry and spend the rest of your life with?

There are only so many chances because we don’t live forever.

In general, it does get more difficult as one gets older, I think, but it can vary greatly from person to person.

Also, as you get older, the odds that that other person would have married someone else increases.

And the chances get to be less and less as you get older.

Yeah and that is why I'm wanting to get married while I am still young!

I'm 43, and while I have been in a couple of relationships, I've given up because I am not compatible with anyone.

The Houston dating scene is brutal.

You have as many chance as there are single women of your approximate age.

Keep in mind that THEY have just as many chances, but will reject men they perceive as creeps and losers.

Both my exes lived around there. I'm NOT blaming them, they were good people. But I've heard a bit of negative stories(especially from my 2nd) about that area being intolerant of certain types of people. There are plenty of exceptions of coarse. The outsiders are more likely to keep to themselves, hide some aspects about themselves, or want to move away from there which could make it a lot harder to find other outsiders who might be accepting of partners that are. I would suggest relocating but that can be alot easier said than done for some people :(

Is there any chance you could move to the Austin area?

Might be easier than moving to a different state?
