Feel bad as I didn't work today thinking I still had COVID
I feel ridiculous and pathetic because after a week of being ill again with COVID, I went back into work feeling physically better than I was but still have a cough and had forgotten to test myself before going in and then ended up feeling unable to go onto the shop floor and worrying about passing it round when I clearly don't know if I have it or don't have it. One of my colleagues suggested I get a test done but I didn't want to waste money on one when there is one at home or wear a mask which I also didn't want to do. I didn't want to look like the only one wearing a mask as most people are not wearing them now. In the end Millie my manager kindly suggested I just take this weekend off and get tested and see me fresh next week. I still feel bad as though I've just made an unnecessary fuss.
