I'm here for the polar opposite truths because I'm mentally fried :jester:

Not a bad poll. Just needs some Rickroll lyrics to jazz things up. Image

If you can have fun with a poll, it's not useless.

Is That Poll Useless?
Yes.

Because there's no ice cream in it. Chocolate with cookies and cream ice cream to be very specific. I mean it's meaningless without it. But what do I know? It's not like I'm an expert at polls; maybe one should ask a guy named Poll. As much as I protest about this poll about the lack of ice cream...

Is That Poll Useless?
No.

Because there's no spaghetti in it. No pizza, no cheese, no random vegies and meat. This is still data of whatever people's whims. Not that I can protest this poll's usefulness, as I already mentioned I'm not a guy named Poll. Also this indicates lack of ice cream which is sad.

^ This is somehow marvelously validating. It's like someone knows what it's like to be in my head listening to all the rambling nonsense that I have to filter out before speaking. Despite the nonsense, it still makes sense because it's answers to both yes and no. That's like 3 levels of polar truths.

Levels
1: yes and no responses
2 sense and nonsense
3: actually useless and useful

The Poll would only be useless if your horns aren't sharp enough to cause damage in the first place.

Then it would be pretty pointless :x

Can we assume that all polls are pointless but only SOME are useless?

I'm sure there's a gender relationship here I'm not quite grasping.

^ I know op didn't want a serious answer but to understand that, you must know that pointless is an absence of purpose, meaning or sense. Useless is a a lack of practical value, effectiveness or the ability to serve a purpose.

You are right there are some overlap in useless and pointless, this poll is a very good example of that. It lacks purpose and practical value. So the poll is both pointless and useless at the same time.

Useless maybe but if points are sharp enough then it's not pointless.

If the points are sharp enough, you can use them to cut things, giving the poll a use. :nerdy:

You can take the letters used to ask the question and re-use them to make other words. So no, not useless.

It does have a use. It illustrates the fact that if you ask a group of people a yes or no question. It's very unlikely to have 100% of the people with the same answer.

pushes up on bridge of eyeglasses :nerdy: ...Actually, it was a yes and/or no question. Respondents were able to respond with both answers at the same time. From what it looks like in retrospect, I'm unconsciously trying to prove my polar truths can't exist at the same time stance wrong, which is right. The polar is expressing 90° north and south. A maglev train carrying magnets over water, stretching from the north pole to the south pole, but the drivetrain is designed in a manner that the locomotor doesn't have a front, so it's also stretching from the south pole to the north pole...in a forum poll about polls discussing poles. Can we get more polarized? What if I were captured on a Polaroid picture pole vaulting over the Polar Express from Poland?
