I just finished reading The Stranger (Camus novel) in 5 hours. I can relate to everything, whether it's not knowing how to respond to my girlfriend's relationship questions, or not having the motivation to change my life, or being confused by other people's overflowing emotions.
Have you read this book? What do you think?

I think it's a great book and think the character is likely a basically well meaning autistic man rather than a sociopath or have any other similar "evil" personality traits.

It was one of the first books for adults I read in French, and it was a great experience. I found it relatable, too. I agree with some of the philosophical takes from the text as I do with Camus overall. To me, life is inherently meaningless/absurd which is very far removed from my extremely religious upbringing. The end of the novel - the bit with the chaplain and after - was especially impactful to me in that sense.
