I really miss the old A team of Clarkson, Hammond and May.
There will never be a trio quite like them again.
And now Motor Trend killed off Roadkill, dismissing Finnegan, Freiburger and the rest of the motley crew, despite all the shows having terrific ratings.

Personally I find Clarkson to be an insufferable gammon.

That was my first reaction to your comment.
My second was "I should look up the word gammon to make sure I understand the full meaning."
I now have a fuller understanding, but my initial interpretation was close.
I still find your comment funny, and I think appropriate.
