Afraid of getting made redundant

While trying to unlock the shopping carts, unintentionally touched a car with the cable

Have you started looking for a different job? Seriously from your posts I hate the way it sounds like people treat you at your job, and it doesn't seem like it can get better there. Also, though if you've spent four years there, you have job experience that could be applied to a new job.

I just don't think you should have to keep putting up with that treatment.

been wasting a lot of energy applying for other jobs. went to a couple job interviews. zero offers.

plenty of jobs had the nerve to make my worthless corpse redundant. autistic. transsexual. and et cetera. zero job skills.

wrote my sister an email about the difficulty of finding a new job. she told me that someone is sending her resources such as "life coaching" and i should wait until after i get "life coaching" before applying for other jobs.

on the other hand, plenty of articles claim that plenty of companies making massive firings.

besides, even if/when i manage to successfully trick a company into making the mistake of hiring my worthless corpse, the job might be worse than my current one and there is no way to know until i get there.

"should", "can", and "will" are all three different things.

a couple months ago, pro supervisor MA told tool rental associate ricky that she was giving him three write ups. don't know if it's been six months already. ricky didn't seem to have an emotional reaction whatsoever.

paint associate john m got made redundant february 2025. after that, he won Servant of the Month. (rotfL). (disorganized home depot). john appeared perfectly calm, to me. but maybe he was saving his emotions.

adam told me he was eating the chicken tacos the customer tipped him with and "nobody will know". taking tips is a terminable offense. adam seemed so laid back about it. i refused the tip. (maybe adam's situation differs from mine, in that adam having sex with the boss.)

head cashier juan said that the gate was locked and "we have to climb the (barbed wire) fence". juan put one foot on the fence, as though to climb it. i didn't say or do anything or take a videotape b/c i was afraid of getting made redundant. but the videotape showed juan tried to climb the fence (safety violation, final warning).

maybe adam, juan, john, and other servants have other forms of earned and unearned income. granted. but i do NOT understand how they could be so composed over write ups and getting made redundant. maybe they are just really great actors.

July 2021, (then) Paint Supervisor bao said that Beto (don't know which one) (allegedly) pulled a knife on bao and tried to hit him with a forklift. Because bao called beto "lazy". Then bao went on administrative leave of absence. Then bao said that the authorities decided to transfer Bao to Plumbing while beto kept his departments (if I were bao, I would not be comfortable working in the same building as Beto, but bao said "everyone is happy").

I'm afraid that if I get into a dispute like that, home Depot will make me change departments. Nobody is perfect and there's nothing great about me. Even I don't feel comfortable around Beto or anyone else with a short fuse

yesterday my walkie talkie fell out my apron. i was so afraid of getting made redundant. thank buddha head cashier juan found it for me. (front end supervisor) angela w just *loves* to go around micromanaging the servants.

a couple months ago, i told (former) head cashier starr that my walkie talkie wasn't working and gave it to her. (regular associate, don't know what dept) terrance was sitting right next to her and said "give it to me" and i did. that lil boy had the nerve to smash the walkie talkie against the wall a couple times, smirk, and give it back to me. (what?) i was so uptight/guarded/edgy/nervous/scared/anxious/uncomfortable, trying as hard as i could to not get made redundant, when terrance purposely went out of his way to do something that could have been labelled "Vandalism", and he acted so laid back, carefree, and relaxed about it. (what am i missing? is terrance having sex with the boss?)

other servants took tips.

last week, walkie talkie stopped working. told Head Cashiers DF and MM that i was afraid the walkie talkie would stop working and then i would miss a page and get made redundant. DF said she would tell her boss. but DF's communication skills pretty bad. but WTF ever b/c the whole thing an "at will" employer.

two weeks ago, head cashier angela had the nerve to tell me that i had already taken my second break but i said "that's not correct. it's on video tape." she said "ok". she didn't argue but she didn't apologize either. she owes me an apology. she and supervisor angela need to get made redundant. on the other hand, she could've told supervisor angela to write me up for "attempted time theft" and the "angela's" could've refused to look @ the video tapes.

head cashier alfredo told cashier tamika that tamika (and cashier mark's) register one hundred bucks short. then tamika won Cashier of the Month.

Cashier Janice told Pro Supervisor MA to get out of "janice's" chair (in the lockerroom). MA refused. janice sat on MA's lap. later, janice told Front End Supervisor Angela to get out of "janice's" chair. angela refused. janice sat on angela's lap. later, janice won Cashier of the Month.

been trying to look @ patterns of what spectacular and correct actions and statements the servants that won awards allegedly made; versus patterns of what horrible and wrong actions and statements servants that got made redundant allegedly made.

according to the above pattern (not a representative sample, not a controlled experiment), the correct method of winning Cashier of the Month is to be one hundred bucks short, otherwise, to sit on a supervisor's lap.

supervisors have termination authority. it appeared to me that janice did not get disciplinary action and she CERTAINLY did not get the pink slip. (rolls eyes) (puke)

if my worthless corpse were to have sat on Tattletale Tom's lap, Tattletale Tom would've snitched to the cops (the cops always on standby @ home depot), and reported me for Sexual Assault. then tattletale tom would've snitched to the Store Manager and gotten me made redundant. then tattletale tom would've filed a civil lawsuit.

instead, when janice sat on MA and angela's laps (on different days), MA and angela laughed it off.

any two rodents could have sex with eachother, and , i do NOT have the legal "right", moral "right" or physical strength to stop them, b/c my worthless corpse constantly outnumbered overpowered and outsmarted.

Constantly paranoid that Angela w will have the nerve to make my worthless corpse redundant. She could wrongfully accuse me of anything and as long as there is no specific law against it, she wins. ("At will" employer)

Or maybe when I am in the litterbox, Angela w will have the nerve to tell me that the head cashier could not find me in the parking lot. It is legal for home Depot to video tape it's own building. It is illegal for me to video tape home Depot. It is legal for home Depot to refuse to show me the video tape

That stupid lil girl Angela w acts like she is just "lurking" and waiting for me or other servants that she doesn't like, to do something "wrong" and then have the nerve to make us redundant

One time I was on the computer and she had the nerve to cross examine me but I was off the clock

January 2022, former ASM don said "thank you for coming back here". Then been going back behind the building a couple times a shift. Then July 2024, former lumber supervisor sadiq had the nerve to tattle on me to Angela w. Angela w acted so self righteous "it has come to my attention that you went behind the building". Angela needs to get made redundant.

Customer offered me cash

"Tips are not allowed"

"Ha?"

"Why? You didn't ask for it?". The idiot had the nerve to stick the cash between my apron and jacket

Then I was afraid that I would get made redundant for accepting a tip

Even though I did not touch it and could not have prevented him from giving it to me

Customers just don't understand the situation

They think that just because they don't understand or like something it must be wrong or bad


And if the boss were to have made me redundant, five bucks would have barely covered public transportation to my Pigpen

Today a customer had the nerve to tell me to unload some baseboard from her car

Lot attendant roy and I did it

The customer went away and a couple of minutes later she had the nerve to tell me that I damaged her stupid lil car . I didn't say or do anything in reaction because "you have a right to remain silent"

I told a boss and the boss called Roy in and th boss filed a report

I don't understand why the customer didn't get the boss immediately to tattle. And why the customer left the parking lot

I think that if she were to have told the boss, the boss would have called me into the office

i am so glad that:

the customer did not tattle to the cops (cops @ home depot always on standby) or the boss

the boss didn't tell me anything about the alleged vandalism the next day

and the next day the schedule says i work, is on friday

good thing tattletale tom wasn't the "witness" instead of roy

roy didn't get angry @ me

i didn't get made redundant yet
