He was basically the father of metal. But he is dead now but seems like he had a pretty cool life, like he went from living in an abusive home and dragging a shoe around and telling people it was his pet(seriously look it up, he even mentions it in his book) to creating an entire genre of music and well kind of living the life.

Never did get to see him live, I got to see Dio live right before he died, but I had hoped to maybe someday see ozzy, but that ship has sailed obviously.

*basically one of the fathers of metal, the other members of black sabbath were also important as well, If it wasn't for them grouping together for a while and making music, we may not have had metal music it is unfair to give ozzy all the credit. So yeah maybe not the father of metal, but at least one of them.

Well at least his music will live on, not everyone will leave behind a legacy like that not everyone creates heavy metal after all.

I remember when he and his wife appeared on their son's program, searching for the supernatural, called The Osbornes Want to Believe. When his son, who is a believer in the paranormal would bring up footage of a UFO sighting, Ozzie would respond with:
"Ball Lightning."
When there'd be what his son said was a ghost on film, Ozzie's response was:
"Ball Lightning."
Footage of Bigfoot:
"Ball Lightning."
