Moved out of home, looking for tips
Hey, I haven't posted on WP in a while. I moved out of home recently and now am in apartment with two other guys, older men by 5 and 10 years than me. they seem fine. I moved out due to issues at home with family but also wanting to be closer to stuff/less car travel each week with therapy stuff or swimming pool distance. I am wondering if you have any tips or recommendations for living outside of home now? I have been out for two weeks now but I had a bit of a cold so recovering / delayed fully settling in. I have improved with hygiene stuff a fair bit but have had some issues regarding medication taking as often? or my sleep being a bit over the place.
Still uncertain somewhat with if I would rather independent ish like this or more supported accommodation, but for cost I am all good where I am now, like I get 2500 or something in disability a month so 1200 goes towards rent and then saving a bit for power bill and I have to pay 200ish a month for internet/phone. I am here for a year on the lease, not sure what happens if I wanted to leave but parent said I can go home if I want (I did leave without telling them until I had everything out of the house)
any tips or help for someone new to living away from family?

I am replying to you because nobody else has. More then specifics what I can give you advice on is general approach. I don’t know you enough to know if you have the ability to live alone. I would give this time. In having older roommates you do not seem to have roommates that are noisy and drama which many do not have. You will make mistakes, and sometimes there will be consequences. This does not necessarily mean you are unqualified to live alone, it means you are new to this.
This apartment is not a lifetime commitment. If it does not workout it does not workout.
I would advise asking more specific questions,
