This is very sad.

There are a lot of graduates even, as the article briefly discusses, who have tried to apply for jobs - many jobs, without success, but just in general and even for non graduates, the jobs market is terrible to navigate. This is true even in the west, especially for people with various disadvantages which might include having a disability or disabilities, or not having a driving license - that sort of thing.

One might expect this in a economy that relys on a social credit score in order to move ahead in life . I think the USA may or may not have a similiar thing that applies to something called maker space . Where as you rent an area in a building in order to start/ promote/ maintain a business . but am not sure about the comparison .? But so far am not aware of a formal social credit score program, especially one instituted by the State . Other than promoting ones own resume.?

Is it bad that this actually sounds nice to me?

Unemployment is isolating. You end up stuck at home constantly applying. Editing your CV. Writing Cover Letters. Sometimes you get assignment work from prospective employers. Then you have the assessments. Personality tests. Rounds of interviews. Only to be rejected afterwards by the sound of silence.

I think that we could do with more community spaces. Especially one that has a dartboard with a picture of someone saying "People just don't want to work anymore!"

A few days ago, the Supreme People's Court issued a judicial interpretation that any agreement of "not paying social security" is invalid and will be implemented on September 1

The new rules have pushed small and medium-sized businesses into bankruptcy, further eliminating jobs. There is a saying that this is the first step in the implementation of the eight-hour working day, and I hope so.
