Again, western left going emotional and not being objective at all.

Frankly, the first one came to mind when watching this video is a specific very active member here in P&R part of WP.
It sounds like some of the content he loves to share and something he would heartily agree with.

So after he unfairly demonized our president and our PM, let’s start spitting some facts:

- Hezbollah is a foreign planted entity, they don’t believe in the state of Lebanon, they don’t believe in the concept of statehood at all, and their total allegiance is for Iran, ideologically and financially. Period. Every decision they make and every war they started was for the sole interest of Iran.
- Hezbollah started the July war 2006 by kidnapping 2 Israeli soldiers, they also started the last war by launching rockets on 8th October 2023; on both times they initiated aggression; these are undeniable facts.
- The “disarming of Hezbollah agreement” wish is the basis of the decision that Mr. Galloway is attacking is something that *Hezbollah* themselves agreed to it; because they LOST the war that they started; both the previous PM and the Parliament speaker (both are allies of Hezbollah) contributed in crafting this agreement; but then later on Iran sent their foreign minster and Hezbollah “shifted” their minds again by insisting to keep their arms. Hezbollah leader was openly stating their intension of re-arming themselves; which is a violation to the agreement and will drag us to another war, again.
- 101 out of 128 parliament members (who are voted directly by the people) agreed on this decision; that’s more than 78% of people representation; disarming Hezbollah is not “bending to the evil Netanyahu’s will” like Mr. Galloway is decisively and naively trying to reduce and frame (we don’t care if Bibi happens to like it, we care only with what *we* want) : it is a Lebanese popular democratic will. We are simply tired that a foreign traitor entity to be armed to teeth and to keep dragging us to unnecessary wars after wars + causing internal instabilities (very long list from unrest, assassinations to drug cartels).
- If there’s any entity that is threatening of erupting a new civil war, it is Hezbollah, not the current government; Mr. Galloway surely can’t understand all the Arabic daily hate speech by Hezbollah against Lebanese. The fact that Hezbollah is going against the majority’s democratic will makes them the accountable ones for any internal instability.
- Hezbollah’s weapons failed to halt Israel invasion/shelling/air bombing and even the ground advances in the last days prior the truce; the technological/firepower gap is simply colossal; so it has been proven that keeping their weapons doesn’t provide much protection; not much more than the Lebanese army. All what it had been doing is *initiating* wars.
- The « disarming agreement » which is locally known as « Barrak’s paper », has very beneficial terms for Lebanon: 1- FULL withdrawal of Israel from all points they conquered. 2- Releasing war hostages (Hezbollah fighters!) 3- Stopping any hostilities from both sides 4- Ensuring the return of far south habitants to their villages 5- Establishing reconstruction and economic deals with neighboring rich countries such as Gulf countries and France. 6- Supporting the Lebanese Army and Unifel
and of course 7- State Monopoly of Arms (Dismantling Hezbollah’s military wing). It is a paper that is frankly excellent for a losing party in war. Hezbollah wants to ruin all this just for the sake of keeping their *useless* weapons, because of course, it is their raison d’être as a spearhead tool for Iran.

I can’t believe how misinformed the likes of Galloway are .

Some people might think any sort of agreement with a terrestrial abomination like Israel to be morally repugnant.
