My weight was last year 95kg with a BMI of 32.1. Due to issues with my blood work my old clinic where I went for treatment threatened me several times to pause my testosterone and in addition to this to lower the dosage. I’m taking testosterone because I’m ftm transgender. Since they were also bashing about my weight, this deeply upset me and in just 11 months I changed clinics (what took several months) and I’m now down to a normal weight of 69kg and a bmi of 23.3. My weight loss was mostly anxiety driven and because the whole situation upset me so much. 8O
I now have to find a healthy way to stabilize and to maintain my new weight. I also get help from a dietitian from the new clinic.

Did anyone else experience here anxiety related rapid weight loss? :?

My anxiety is often through the roof but I don't seem to lose any weight because of it. I wish I did. I'm such a fat chick now.

I’m so sorry you struggle with weight. :(

I got totally fixated on my eating habits and food, it got kinda an obsession for me. So it was intentional, but clearly triggered by severe anxiety and my mistrust in the medical system itself.

It started when I was about 12 or 13 and I started struggling to eat

I'd put it down to a living in a stressful environment

Yes, stress caused my eating issues too, in one way (obese) to the other (I was slightly underweight as a child). I suspect it has to do a lot with routines. To a eating habit I’m used to and then follow…
