Why have kids knowing a handful they can be sometimes?

Seeing how my sister has to put up with her five year old just baffles me, I don't know how she manages it. The thing is he does get on my nerves sometimes like when we've been away for 3 days in Devon, he couldn't sit still and was always trying to run away and even try to snatch other kids toys. It just feels embarrassing and my sister runs after him and it's as though he has no concept of encountering a danger like running into the road or taking something from someone. He has I think been diagnosed with autism and I don't know he has ADHD as well. Sometimes seeing that makes me think is it any wonder why I still don't have children? And how do people put up with it? It shows me that's what I have to deal with if I did.

I'd like to ask my upstairs neighbours why they bothered having kids for if they can't look after them properly. My partner says that whenever he sees them looking out the window they always have headphones on while the kids cry and scream all day, as though they don't want to hear their kids or see to them. Also it seems they just let their kids go to bed when they want - keeping in mind they are both under the age of 4. And a bedtime routine is an important part of parenting I believe, especially when you live in non-soundproof apartments above other people. It's sh***y having a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old running around at midnight, it's as loud as elephant stamping about. I blame the parents. They chose to have these kids, why should we have to bear all the chaos and noise they bring? We don't even have children because WE LIKE PEACE!! !! !! !!

No mistakes if people get sterilized

EDIT:Also, you CANNOT predict how your kids are going to behave or turn out until you are actually in the trenches of parenting!! !

You said mistakes can be made for unwanted pregnancies. That's what my response was.

Oh okay

You are right!! !

The ONLY surefire way to prevent and stop all pregnancies is to undergo a tubal ligation (a.k.a "getting your tubes tied") procedure!

What you’re describing sounds really tough, especially if your nephew has autism or ADHD. Parenting isn’t easy for anyone, but parents often adapt in ways outsiders don’t see. They find patience they didn’t know they had and get moments of love that make the struggles feel worth it.

The thing is some kids make me smile but some that scream and have tantrums for some reason annoys me. I don't know if that's an indication that I am not parent material. The thing is it reminds me of myself when I was a 5 year old or a toddler although I hardly remember it whatsoever. I feel bad because I still have little or no interest in kids despite not having a partner and I feel alone because others do have them.

I am the same way

I do NOT throw tantrums anymore, instead I have Autistic meltdowns

It could mean that you aren't equipped to handle parenting but there are ways to overcome that!! !

No offense Miku, but every time you use the exclamation mark, you have a mini-tantrum :D
