'Oh that looks cute and nostalgic, I never really got to play that game' *downloads game*.

'What the hell this is actually hard, why can't I beat a kids game grrr.' and then 'hey boyfriend (who's mom wasn't a video game nazi) do you want to play pass and play on this game(I can't beat the level so if we do it together maybe you can beat the level and then I get to see how the next level looks Ja?) for fun.'

It makes me bitter, I feel like I'd be better at video games if my mom hadn't been so against them when I was a kid. Idk she had a bad habit of if she didn't particularly like something, it was the devil, and she didn't want her kids exposed to it...instead of just recognizing other people including her kids may have some different interests than she does and its ok.

Seriously though, The game is quite a bit more challenging than I thought it would be.

imo single player games are about having fun, when they cease to be fun consider whether its worth continuing that game

which crash bandicoot game are you playing?

Dammit! I saw the title and thought a sequel to Crash 4 was coming.

I started with Its about time, but I've also been trying the insane trilogy on game pass with the first 3 games. My boyfriend finally made it through Native Fortress on the first game. We were taking turns trying for a little while the last few days and it finally paid off.

It's fun with the right attitude, I just have to remember it's not about getting to the end fast, it's about trying the challenge till you figure it out and get past it. And it's ok to take a break and play something else or do something else if you get tilted and come back later.

Yeah, sorry about that, I just realized crash bandicoot 4 is new to game pass but was released in 2020. I thought it said 2025 but it seems that was just date for adding it to game pass.

I only have a laptop, not a gaming console. It took a while for Crash 4 to finally become available on Steam. But I did get that game just as soon as I could.

Yes, it's harder than the original trilogy. Fortunately, by default, Crash 4 doesn't have the "lives" system and game over screen that sends you back to the beginning of a hard level. I did finally beat the game. However, there are some super hard bonus levels afterward that I haven't quite managed to beat yet.

I find the second game to be the easiest. The third game has some fun levels though, such as the racing levels.

As for video games and the attitudes of some older adults, that is unfortunate. Hopefully when younger people get older and it's their turn to be in charge and be the parents and politicians and so on, video games will be more accepted.

The first crash is waaay harder. I've beaten crash 2/3/4 but gave up on crash 1 in about an hour
